The Buccal swab testing technology is also known as cotton swab testing because the Buccal swabs resemble Q-tips. This test is administered by gently rubbing a swab inside the cheek.

DNA Testing results are typically returned within 3 to 5 business days.
If you require Court Admissible Test Results, a notarized copy of results will be sent through the mail within 5 business days.
Prenatal paternity testing is not offered by ARCpoint of Oceanside CA. We suggest waiting until the child is born. Buccal swab testing is so gentle it can be performed on newborn babies.

Does the child have to be a certain age for a Buccal swab test?
A. No. In fact, the procedure can be done immediately after birth, if necessary.
