Why should the company's supervisors be trained as a part of a Drug-Free Workplace program?

A. Supervisor's observations are often more accurate than a drug test. As they monitor employee performance and behaviors, trained supervisors can often identify a drug or alcohol abusers and recommend those employees to a take a drug test based on suspicion.

Does ARCpoint provide alcohol detection training in accordance with D.O.T. policy?

A. ARCpoint offers testing and training in accordance to 49 CFR Part 40, as required by the Department of Transportation (DOT). To become qualified students must:

• The student must be trained on the rules/regulations of Federal Alcohol Testing through a 6 1/2 hour classroom lecture
• The student must demonstrate proficiency in administering an alcohol test using the EBT instrument.
• The student must perform a minimum of 7 mock tests on a live subject using the instrument.
